200+ Industry Leaders Talk Cutting-Edge Project Management and Delivery at the 2nd International Conference on Transportation Construction Management

More than 200 federal, state and local transportation officials, transportation design and construction industry leaders and educators from around the world came to Orlando, Fla., February 7-10, to share new directions and rapidly evolving innovations in transportation construction management.

Attendees at the 2nd International Conference on Transportation Construction Management (TCM-2) heard from high-profile speakers like Federal Highway Administrator Victor Mendez and former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell.  TCM-2 also featured more than 50 interactive sessions on emerging topics relating to controlling, delivering and constructing transportation infrastructure projects, as well as “intelligent construction,” which included a look at future technologies.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) provided key support for the conference program, along with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), Transportation Research Board, Florida Department of Transportation, and six other key associations.  The American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s Transportation Development Foundation (ARTBA-TDF) served as the conference manager.
